Srinagar, Apr 13: The aspirants of the range officer grade-I examination to be conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) tomorrow on Sunday, the 14th of April 2019 have sought its immediate deferment in view of the closure of the Srinagar-Jammu highway for civilian traffic tomorrow on Sunday.
A group of aggrieved aspirants called up KNS Srinagar office and said, “Though Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has clarified that range officer grade-I (Forest) examination will be held as per schedule tomorrow on Sunday the 14th of April 2019 but the candidates won’t be able to reach examination centres due to closure of Srinagar-Jammu highway for civilian traffic tomorrow on Sunday. We appeal Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission to defer the examination and reschedule it for any other day accepting Wednesday and Sunday.”
Despite repeated calls from KNS office the chairman Public Service Commission didn’t pick up any call.
