26th State Football Championship: DFA Srinagar defeats Lonestar KFC , Real Kashmir defeats JK Bank XI

Srinagar: In the ongoing 26th State Football Championship two Quarter final matches were played at Synthetic Turf (TRC) Srinagar on Ist April.
The First match was played between DFA Srinagar and Lone star KFC. Both the teams enthralled the audience by their spectacular moves. The first Goal was scored by by Farhan of DFA Srinagar in 14th minutes of the Second half and the 2nd Goal was scored by DFA Srinagar by Bilal Ahmad in the 20th minute of the second half. In the 30th minute of the second half Faizan of Lone star scored a Goal.. The players of Lonestar FC tried their best to equalize but could not, Thus DFA Srinagar defeated Lone star Club by (2-1).
The second Quarter Final match was played between J&K Bank XI & Real Kashmir FC. Both the teams tired to take lead but no one able to score a goal in the first half .In the second half Zaid Goalkeeper of Real Kashmir made some brilliant saves which was applauded by the spectators & kept them spellbound. Thus the game ended with goalless. Fifteen minutes extra time was given and no Club was able to score. In the end tiebreaker rule was applied in which Real Kashmir FC defeated J&K Bank by 7-6 in the sudden death .
In Jammu Chapter Competition Ist Match Sports Saviours defeated Saink Colony by 3:0 goals Scorer are Vinay, Pianav & aditya in the 2nd Match DFA Leh defeated DFA Kathua 4:3 Goals
