Baramulla: The Tehsildar Baramulla Saturday realized a fine of Rs 5300 from various shopkeepers for violating the legal regulations during the market checking.
The checking team also destroyed some quantity of contaminated vegetables and spices.
The Tehsildar Baramulla informed that such a drive has been conducted in order to ensure the quality and price control besides keeping vigil on erring traders. She said such drives shall be conducted on routine basis so that quality as well as stable price of commodities is ensured.
