Shopian: At least seven youth have been arrested during a nocturnal raid in Arhama area of South kashmir’s Shopian district. Locals told KNO that government forces sealed the area and raided many residential houses to arrest the youth from the area.
“At least seven boys have been picked up in the night,” they said. Locals identified the arreated youth as Ishaq Ittoo S/O Ahsan Ittoo, Mehrajuddin Mir S/O Qadir Mir, Arshid Lone S/O Jabbar Lone, Shabir Kulley S/O Rashid Kulley, GH. Nabi Mir S/O Qadir Mir, Irfan Ittoo S/O AB. Rashid and Fayaz Ahmad Mir S/ O Ahsan Mir.
A police official while confirming the arrest of seven persons said that they have been arrested for questioning.(KNO)
