Srinagar/ March,20: Amid shutdown called by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against the custodial death of a teacher of Awantipora area of South Kashmir the authorities on Tuesday morning reduced the mobile Internet from 4G to 2G in Srinagar and Budgam districts.
Officials said the mobile internet services have been reduced from 4G to 2G in two districts of Budgam and Srinagar as a precautionary measure. As already reported Rizwan Assad Pandith of Awantipora area of South Kashmir, died in police custody Tuesday this week., triggering outrage across Kashmir.
The school teacher was arrested by police from his home few days back. A magisterial probe was ordered into the case after violent clashes broke out in several parts of Kashmir valley particularly old parts of Srinagar city and Awantipora town.
