Srinagar/ March, 15: Police said on Friday that charred body of an army man was on Friday found inside 175 Territorial Army regiment at Panzgam in the morning frontier district Kupwara.
A police official said ‘the deceased army man has been identified as 31-year-old Mushtaq Ahmad Pir (Belt number 32009), son of Mohammad Yaseen of Maidan Chowgal Handwara adding that “’ he body has been recovered from the camp and sent to Kupwara hospital for post mortem’.
The official said a police party has been sent to 175 TA regiment camp to investigate the incident. “The cause of his death will be revealed after proper investigation of the case,” said the official.
The body will be handed over to their legal heirs after medico-formalities, he said.
