SSP Ganderbal asks licensed gun holder to deposit guns at local police stations, security guards working in banks, offices exonerated

Ganderbal: Ganderbal Police has asked licensed gun holders to deposit their guns at local police stations of their respective areas but security guards at banks, government offices and non-government institutes have been asked to continue to hold such guns for carrying out their routine work of guarding their work places.
Those who possess licensed Guns have to deposit their arms at nearby Police Stations.
However, security guards at banks, government offices and non-government institutes, can retain their Guns on obtaining a relaxation from depositing the arms, by submitting relevant reasons to the Police”, a police statement said.
Ganderbal Police also appealed general public to inform immediately if any one violated the order. People can inform Ganderbal Police via following contact Numbers:
