DIC Jammu organizes National Productivity Day

Jammu: District Industries Centre, Jammu in collaboration with Industrial Association, Digiana and Gangyal, Monday organized National Productivity Day at Government Industrial Estate, Digiana.
The theme of this year’s event was “Circular Economy for Productivity And Sustainability”.
During the meeting, threadbare discussion was held on the theme wherein the Recycling Waste Management, Lean Manufacturing was discussed. The participants deliberated on the possibility of exploring sustainable ways of recycling waste especially in MSME Sector. Besides, members of the Association also conveyed their important inputs during the discussion.
Officers of District Industries Centre Jammu elaborated various government initiatives and the stakeholders were made aware about the steps to be taken up by them for availing the benefits of various Government Schemes for promotion of Micro, Small, Medium and Large Enterprises.
Prominent industrialists, office bearers of Association, officers from the District Industries Centre, Jammu, Power Development Department, J&K State Pollution Control Board and J&K SIDCO were present on the occasion.
