Srinagar, Feb 18 : Four army men including an officer and two militants were on Monday morning killed in an ongoing gunfight in Pinglina area of south south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, said army on Monday morning. Meanwhile unconfirmed reports said one civilian has been also killed in the gunfight.
In a text message to KNS, the Srinagar based defence spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia said, “Op Pinglana (Pulwama). Two militants killed. One officer and three jawans martyred. Operations in progress.”
Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports quoting locals said that one civilian in whose house the militants were hiding was also killed during the gunfight.
