All Offices including DC Office, LAHDC Secretariat shut in Kargil Ladakh

Kargil: The temperature is -8 at Kargil despite of that More than 20000 people on Tuesday protested in Kargil Ladakh against the Government’s SRO 110 and are demanding revisions and amendment of the order with rotational headquarters at both Kargil and Leh for the 4th day.
The protestors were led by all the religious, political and social leaders including Acting CEC LAHDC Kargil of Joint Resistance Movement against SRO 110.
All the Government Offices including LAHDC Secretariat, DC Office, and court were closed with all business establishments all over the district led by Joint Resistance Movement against SRO 110.
More and more people are joining the protest from far flung areas and women organization of Baroo Colony has made arrangements for tea and snacks for the protesters.
It shows that all the section of the society in Frontier and strategically important district of J&K are on roads and are demanding for equal rights.
While talking on this occasion the speakers thanked all the people of Kargil, including Traders, Transporters, Employees and Women Organizations for supporting the cause and helping the Joint Resistance Movement against SRO 110, for creating a new history in J&K.
The Speakers, urged upon the government to take immediate step in fulfilling the demands of the people of Kargil Ladakh before it gets too late.
Joint Resistance Movement against SRO 110 has given call for closure of Governemnt offices from tomorrow till the demand is full filled and the Employees Joint Action Committee Kargil has also extended their support to the Band.
The protester marched from Islamic School Chow towards DC Office with black flats in their hands and protested there for the whole day.
Last night more than 3000 people assembled at Larse Masjid and blocked the NH 1D forcing the new divisional commissioner to return back to Leh from Wakha.
Meanwhile the government has set up a team of Secretaries to review the matter and submit the report to the Governor to redress the grievances of the people of Kargil.
