Shopian admin starts exercise for implementing PM-KISAN

Shopian: Additional District Development Commissioner Muhammad Saleem Malik, chaired a meeting with district and sectoral officers to work out modalities for identification and finalization of list of eligible small and marginal farmers entitled to benefits under “Pradhan Mantri KisanSamman Nidhi” Scheme.
The ADDC directed the officers of Agriculture, Horticulture, Revenue and Rural Development Departments to work in unison to identify and finalize the list of all eligible small and marginal farmers as per prescribed format in stipulated timelines.
The ADDC also directed the concerned officers to work on war footing basis to ensure the completion of desired task viz a viz uploading of requisite data of eligible farmers on Portal before 22nd February 2019.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, Tehsildars, officials of the Revenue Departments and other concerned officers/officials also attended the meeting.
