Jammu/Feb,7: The Jammu and Kashmir Government Thursday assigned additional charge of Jammu and Srinagar Metropolitan  Regional Development Authorities to Dheeraj Gupta the Principal Secretary to Government Housing and Urban Development department also holding additional charge as Principal Resident Commissioner, J&K Government New Delhi. The Government transferred one IAS and four KAS officers and relieved Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Syed Abid Rashid Shah of the additional charge as Vice Chairman Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWWDA)

An order issued by the General Administration Department said “Dheeraj Gupta, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department, holding the additional charge of Principal Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi, shall also look after the work of Smart Cities and proposed new Jammu/Srinagar Metropolitan Regional Development Authorities, till further orders, relieving Shaleen Kabra, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government Industries & Commerce Department of the additional charge”.

In yet another order issued by the General Administration Department the Government transferred one IAS and four KAS officers including Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) and Director Agriculture Jammu retiring by month end. The order issued by GAD reads as under :

Prasanna Ramaswamy  G,  IAS ,  Additional Secretary  to the Government, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, holding additional charge of Special Officer in the Cell for Monitoring Flagship Programmes and Mega Projects, is transferred and Posted as Vice-Chairman, Lakes and Waterways Development Authority, relieving Syed Abid Rashid Shah, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar of the additional charge of the post. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Additional Secretary to the Government, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction for State Emergency Operation Center (SEOC),  Humhama, Srinagar.

Peerzada Hafiz-Ullah Shah, KAS, Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, is transferred and posted as Secretary in the Health and Medical Education Department.

Mir Tariq Ali, KAS, Joint Financial Commissioner, Agrarian Reforms, is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, vice Peerzada Hafiz-Ullah Shah.

Pawan Singh Rathore, KAS, Vice-Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, is transferred and posted as Director, Agriculture, Jammu. The officer shall join at his new place of  posting on 1.3.2019, after  the retirement on superannuation of  H.K. Razdan, Director, Agriculture, Jammu on 28.2.2019, till then he shall await in the General Administration Department.

Vikas Sharma, KAS, Joint Transport Commissioner, under orders of transfer as Director, Geology and Mining, J&K, is transferred and posted as Vice-Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, vice Mr. Pawan  Singh Rathore.
