Kupwara: The Republic day was celebrated in Army Goodwill school in Naugam.
Commander 17 INF Brigade Nowgam unfurled the tri-colour at Nowgam north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. The school children and local artists, also presented cultural programmes on the occasion.

A total number of 100 students along with principals, Headmasters, Teachers of various schools with the eyewitnesses of many civil dignitarie ssuch as Sarpanch and numberdars from various Villages of the Mawar. The chief Guest Host the national flag and then the students of the Army Goodwill School sing the National anthem with pride and honours.
Students perform various cultural activities to entertain guests. All the performances pay respect to our country’s achievements and achievers. Indian classical dances, folk performances and other activities are displayed to showcase the skills school is honing in its students.
Chief Guest delivers speeches to inform students what they are capable of and how can they take inspiration from the great achievers who have made India proud at the global map.
Prizes are given away by the chief guest and the day ends for enthusiastic students on a happy note.
At the end of celebration the refreshments for all present students and for civil dignitaries were also arranged by the different Units of the TMG Brigade.
