Srinagar/Jan,27: One way traffic will be allowed from Jammu to Srinagar today (Monday) if no further landslides don’t come down in the stone shooting areas, said a senior traffic police official.
Talking to Kashmir Horizon SSP Traffic (Rural) Muzaffar Ahmed Shah said ” One way traffic will be allowed to ply from Jammu to Srinagar depending upon the condition of the road” adding that ‘ light motor vehicles will be allowed to ply first and heavy vehicular movement will allowed later”. He said stranded vehicles were allowed from Jammu to Srinagar on Sunday . As already reported the highway was reopened for one way traffic after remaining closed for six consecutive days last week.
