DC Baramulla visits upper reaches of Rafiabad

Baramulla: Deputy Commissioner, Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash accompanied by various concerned officers Wednesday visited the upper reaches of Rafiabad area to get a first hand appraisal of the snow clearance measures.
Deputy Commissioner visited villages including Shutloo, Vohlutra, Brandub, Khamoh, Braman, where he stressed on mobilising men and machinery so that the people may not face any inconvenience. He directed for clearing all roads and links in the area within shortest possible time.
The DC interacted with the people who appraised him about the availability of all essential commodities being provided to them. They, however, complained about the shortage of essential medicines in some dispensaries, wherein the DC Dr Naqash assured them of quick redressal.
The DC also directed for facilitating every basic facility including water and power supply in a hassle free manner. He stressed for adhering to the power curtailment schedule in letter and spirit.
The people expressed gratitude to the administration in general and the DC in particular for visiting the area.
