Jammu: A group of unidentified masked men has robbed Rs 2 lakh from the employees of a petrol pump in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A complaint was lodged by the owners of the petrol pump located at an isolated place near Dayani on Jammu-Pathankot national highway that Rs 2 lakh was robbed by some unidentified men on Monday night,” a senior police officer here said on Tuesday.
He said that as per complainants, all the robbers had covered their face and they pointed 12-bore pistol at the staff of petrol pump and decamped with the money.
“They were travelling in a Punjab registration private car and ran away towards the highway,” he said adding that the filling station does not have CCTV cameras.
“We have registered a case and started the investigations,” police added.
