Srinagar: A day after reports that were refuted by police that several people arrested by police are being handed over to National Investigation Team, a protest was held at Rajouri Kadal Srinagar to press for the demand of the release of these people.
Reports said that the family and relatives of the kin who assembled at Rajouri Kadal in old Srinagar area and blocked the road said the people arrested by police are innocent. They said it will have serious ramifications if their kin are handed over to NIA and shifted to Delhi.
Pertinently, days after the reports of handing over the nine youth from various parts of Kashmir appeared in various news portals, in reaction to that police refuted the reports and said all the accused persons are presently in “Judicial custody”.
