Jammu, Dec 20: Jammu and Kashmir Government has said that the salary and Honorarium issues in ICDS would be addressed soon.
The statement issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Government said “Government of India has released 49Cr on account of Honorarium for Anganwadi workers and helpers which will be released immediately after getting credit confirmation from Finance Department.”
Saying that “to address the issue of pending salary Finance Department has approved an additional allocation of 55 cr in the Revised Estimates which are expected to be released very soon’, the statement also said “in order to ensure reconciliation with Ministry of women and Child Department and expedite release of arrears and third instalment of current financial year due to the State team of officers led byMission Director ICDS has been deputed to Delhi today.”
