Srinagar/Dec, 20: Dozens of National Conference workers led by party’s district president Gh Rasool Naaz Thursday took out a protest rally in Bandipora against the recent civilian killings in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The protestors shouted anti-government slogans and accused the government of turning a deaf ear to public outcry against continuing spree in civilian killings across Kashmir.
Addressing the protesters the National Conference district president Bandipora, Gulam Rasool Naz strongly condemned the recent civilian killings in Pulwama at the hands of government forces. Alleging that “even children and women are not being spared” and Naaz asked government to try to immediately stop killing of civilians. ”
The protestors later marched towards mini-secretariat Bandipora where they handed over a memorandum to additional deputy commissioner Bandipora.
