New Delhi/Dec, 18: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Member of the Rajaya Sabha the upper house of Parliament Mir Mohammad Fayaz on Tuesday protested inside the premises of Parliament against the killing of seven civilians in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Fayaz belongs to north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, and was elected Member Rajaya Sabha in 2014 immediately after the assembly election in which PDP emerged as the single largest party with 28 seats in a house of 87 for the first since its inception.
Dressed ina white T-shirt inscribed with ‘Stop Bloodshed in Kashmir’ ‘Stop Killings in Kashmir’, the MP held a protest inside Parliament premises near Mahatma Gandhi statue.
The party’s Twitter handle shared the photos of Fayaz, who could be seen protesting inside the Parliament premises.
