Mechanism in place for speedy grievance redressal: Advisor (V) tells deputations in Jmu

Jammu: Advisor to Governor, B B Vyas, Friday said necessary mechanism has been put in place to ensure speedy and and time-bound redressal of the grievances of people.
The Advisor was interacting with scores of deputations from different districts of Jammu division who meet him here at convention centre under the aegis of Governor’s Grievance Cell and projected their problems and demands.
Senior officers of District Administration, Revenue, Agriculture, and other allied Departments were present on the occasion.
“Necessary mechanism has already been put in place so that there is proper and timely disposal of the grievances and issues being projected by the people especially related to vital sectors and departments.
The Adviser also directed the officers to be responsive to the needs and issues projected by the people, conduct regular field visits to monitor status of implementation of the programs and get the requisite feedback.
Over 30 delegations comprising 145 individuals and several other persons from the districts of Jammu Division apprised the Advisor of their grievances and sought his intervention in ensuring outcome-based redressal.
A deputation of residents of old Nehru market flats called for rehabilitation at a suitable place.
Delegations from Mirhama, Bijbhera projected the demand for development of a playgrounds in their locality.
A delegation of Postgraduate Ayurvedic doctors demanded absorption as Academic faculty in the Ayurvedic College.
Doda Migrant committee demanded regularization as migrants with the relief department.
Deputation from Kathar, Tehsil Akhnoor demanded establishment of bank branch in their locality.
Management of residential home for blinds demanded relief assistance for the inmates.
Delegation of employees from Ranbir Printing Press raised the issue of re-organization of the department and called for remedial measures for redressing the issue.
Deputation of PDD daily wagers raised several issues related to their wages and regularization.
Deputation of owners whose land has been acquired for Ring Road Project demanded increase in the quantum of compensation being given to them.
Residents of Sainak Housing Cooperative society raised several issues related to Saink colony and demanded remedial measures.
Deputation from Chingus(Rajouri) demanded construction of link roads and other civic amenities.
MLC, Vikram Randhawa also called on the Advisor and raised several developmental issues of the Jammu city.
Other Delegations and individuals from different areas of Jammu Division apprised the Advisor with their problems related to revenue, agriculture, rehabilitation, horticulture, Food and Civil Supplies and sought his intervention and immediate redressal.
