Power Shutdown in Jmu parts

Srinagar: Power Controller, Kashmir province, PDD Bemina Friday informed that power supply shall remain affected from December 8 to December 12 in view of installation, repair, stringing work in different areas of the Kashmir province .
In an official hand out issued here Friday, the PDD spokesperson said as per their schedule to carry out installation/repair work of Channel X arm on 4 pole tower Ahmadpora Grid, 33 KV Ahmadpora-Magam Line shall remain off from 10 am to 4 pm on 8th December 2018.
Likewise 33 KV Sharifabad-HMT Line shall be shut down on December 8, 2018, from 10 am to 3.30 pm to carry out stabilization and necessary repair work. Therefore, the power supply shall remain affected by the areas fed by the line.
The press release read that PDD shall carry out shifting of 33 KV Gopalpora Achabal Line so as to facilitate road widening of Mattan-Achabal Road. For this, the power receiving stations Achabla, Shangus, Nowgam, Cherpora in Gopalpora Achabal shall remain off on 8th December 2018 and 10th December 2018 from 10 am to 5 pm. Similarly, for Wanpoh Anantnag the power receiving stations Sarnal, Naibasti, Harnag, and Akura supply shall remain affected on 12th December 2018 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Similarly to carry stringing work of 220 KV DC Amargarh Wagoora Transmission Line, 33 KV Budgam Kremshore Line shall remain shut down on 10th December 2018 and 12th December 2018 from 10 am to 4 pm.
In order to carry out stabilization, the shutdown of 33KV Baramulla Ist, Baramulla IInd, and MES lines the 33KV lines of STD Sopore would be shut down on 9thDecember 2018 from 11 am to 4 pm.
Therefore, power supply to the areas fed from these lines shall remain affected on the said dates and time.
