DDC Rajouri reviews progress under CAPEX Budget 2018-19

Rajouri: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, Friday chaired a meeting to review the physical and financial achievements of various departments under District CAPEX Budget 2018-19.
The DDC took sector wise review of the progress of projects undertaken by different departments under District CAPEX Budget 2018 – 19 allocation. He reviewed the schemes of Rural Development Department, Irrigation and Flood Control, R&B, PMGSY, Health, PDD, Animal Husbandry, Education, Youth Services & Sports, PHE, Sheep, and Animal Husbandry, forest, sericulture and others.
The meeting was informed that against an availability of Rs 10756.54 lakh for the district under CAPEX Budget 2018 – 19, 66.62 percent expenditure has been achieved till the end of November 2018.
With regard to the progress achieved in various sectors, the meeting was informed that under elementary education, out of an availability of Rs 117.96 lakh, 61.46 percent expenditure has been achieved. Similarly, out of an availability of Rs.34.74 lakh, 90.60 percent expenditure has been achieved in the secondary education till the end of November 2018. Likewise, under mid-day meals schemes, about 93 percent expenditure has been recorded. Besides, 100 percent expenditure has been booked till November 2018 under RMSA.
Under Youth Services and Sports sector, out of an availability of Rs. 4.53 lakh 44 percent expenditure has been achieved till the end of November 2018.
The concerned officer informed the DDC that the work of pavilion in the Mini Stadium is in progress and will be completed soon.,
Under MGNREGA, against an availability of Rs 6649.25 lakh, an expenditure of Rs 5033.58 lakh has been registered.
Similarly, the achievements of Health, Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Forest, Fisheries and Sheep Husbandry were also reviewed.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to mobilize all the sources for effective and timely completion of developmental projects.
Meanwhile, the DDC released an amount of Rs. 781.31 lakh to various departments under District plan.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, chief medical officer, chief education officer, SE PWD, district Forest Officer Social forestry, Executive Engineer PWD, Executive Engineer PHE Rajouri/Nowshera, Executive Engineer I&FC Rajouri/Nowshera, EO Municipality Rajouri, and district officers from other concerned departments.
