The move would include adding several more advanced features to the Governor’s Public Grievance Redressal Web Portal including classification of complaints for prompt redressal, effective monitoring and assessment of performance onredressal by departments and many other features.

In this regard, Chief Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam issued necessary directions to Complaint Handling Team of the Grievance Cell, while reviewing its performance.

Principle Secretary Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, Rohit Kansal was also present at the meeting.

The Chief Secretary, while hailing the CHT for upgrading and integrating the portal, directed for adding several other features to make it more comprehensive in terms of complaint registration, generation of tracking ID, OTP for complainant, monitoring, quality resolution of grievances etc.

Generating comprehensive data base including pre–categorization of complaints will help in achieving integrated regulatory system from complaint registration to its disposal, Chief Secretary added.
