Srinagar: Why was 18 month old Hibba Jan carrying any gun or stone that she was snatching of her eyesight by pellet terrorism? Was 15 year old Muskaan a terrorist that her life was snatched by showering bullets? India and its viceroy in the form of Governor should remember that they cannot suppress Kashmiri nations march to freedom by terror and oppression. This was stated by joint resistance leadership (JRL) comprising of Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Muhammad Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik while condemning the unending carnage by Indian occupation in nooks and corners of Kashmir valley. JRL leaders and activists along with people from different walks of life Tuesday staged a peaceful protest demonstration against the brutal killing of 15 year old innocent girl Muskaan Jaan and snatching of the eyesight of 18 month old Hibaa Jan by pellet terrorism at Shupian.
Leaders and activists from Joint resistance leadership (JRL) Tuesday gathered at Koker-bazar Lal Chowk and staged a peaceful protest against ongoing slaughter of Kashmiris by Indian trigger happy Indian forces especially the brutal killing of 15 year old Muskan Jan and snatching of the eyesight of 18 month old baby Hiba Jan. Holding placards and raising slogans against unending carnage by Indian occupational forces in nooks and corners of Kashmir valley especially in southern districts of Kashmir, Participants of the protest demonstration condemned Indian aggression against unarmed Kashmiris. The protest demonstration was addressed by various JRL leaders.
Meanwhile In a statement issued to media on the occasion JRL comprising of Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Muhammad Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik said that nooks and corners, roads and hills, meadows and mountains and rivers and lakes of Jammu Kashmir have been turned red by spilling the blood of innocent Kashmiris who are asking for their right to self-determination which has been guaranteed to them by the United Nations and pledged by Indian leaders like MK Ghandi and Jawahar Lal Nehru. JRL said that Indian colonial mindset has gone berserk in Kashmir and it is slaughtering humans at will without any remorse or repentance. Our young men and boys are falling to the Indian bullets and residential houses and properties to its explosives and chemicals. To justify their crimes against humanity, Indians dub slain Kashmiris as terrorists and houses along with civilians as supporters of terrorism which is outrageous, asserted JRL. We want to ask a question from Indian rulers and their viceroy like Governor in Kashmir that why was the eyesight of 18 month old baby Hiba Jan snatched by pellets. Was she a terrorist or stone thrower or even an agitator? We want to ask them about the crime of 15 year old Muskaan Jan who was gunned down by their coward forces. Was she carrying a gun or a stone at the time she was showered with bullets, Asked JRL? Leaders said that Indian leaders and their deployed authorities in Jammu Kashmir have unleashed and expedited this reign of terror and massacres in a bid to defeat Kashmiri resistance but they fail to realize that if defeating or intimidating a nation that has resolved to achieve freedom and right to self-determination would have been possible then many nations including India would not have been sovereign countries today. JRL said that India and its viceroy in the form of Governer, should wake up from their daydreaming and realize that India will have to accept the aspirations of the people of Jammu Kashmir, bow before a people’s resistance sooner or later and accept the right of self-determination of the people of Jammu Kashmir as it is also in the in the interest of their own nations and people.
