The members of the delegation draw the attention of the Advisor towards the difficulties they are facing to achieve the 90% employment to the permanent residents of J&K as per Government order keeping in view the non-availability of the specialized or skilled labour in the state for a particular industry like Pharma, Cement, Steel and many alike.
They urged for the re-examination of 90:10 Labour Clause to provide the relaxation to some particular industries for which trained skilled labour is not available in the state. They also requested the intervention of the Advisor in to the matters regarding the grant of the incentives to the existing Micro and Small-Scale Units of the state under different heads.
The Advisor assured the delegation that all their genuine concerns will be taken up on priority and said necessary measures will be taken after a detailed assessment of the issues put forth by them. He asked them to consider the suggestion of training local labour from the state for specialized and skilled work.
