Udhampur: A three-day sports event under ‘Khelo India Sports’ for peace and development started at Government High School, Ramnagar which was inaugurated by Block Development Officer, Dr. Manmeet Kumar.
Around 119 participants drawn from seven different educational institutions are participated in the first day of Khelo event.
On first day, in Volley Ball under 15 years category the first match was played between Rising Pillar Public High School Ramnagar and High School Kulwanta, and was won by the HS Kulwanta. Besides, Kabaddi, Long Jump, 100mtr Sprint and shot put were the main events in the program.
Pertinently, the Khelo India program has been started from 18th of November 2018 in different blocks of district Udhampur.
