Baramulla : Stray dogs mauled at least 51 persons in Kant bagh and its adjacent areas of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday, triggering panic in the area.
Reports said that a pack roaming in the area attacked and injured 51 persons on Tuesday. The injured, they said, were rushed to Baramulla district hospital where they were given the necessary medication.
Some of the victims claimed that the vaccine was not available at the hospital.
However, Medical superintendent Baramulla district hospital, Dr Masood said there is no shortage of vaccine and all the patients were provided the necessary medication. Meanwhile, panicked locals appealed government to deal with the canines which they said had endangered their lives.
