Srinagar : J&K State Women’s Development Corporation (JKWDC) conducted an awareness camp at Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) Awantipora in which a large number of female students of all professional courses participated.
District Office Pulwama Tahir Parvez conducted the basic session and highlighted all schemes being implemented by the Corporation in the State for the uplift of Women.
Schemes like NMDFC, NBCFDC, NHFDC, WEP, Educational Loan, Skill Upgradation, etc were discussed in detail.
Participants were apprised about the educational loan on simple 3% interests available with a loan limit of Rs 20 to 30 lakh.
Dr. Quarishi Deputy Registrar IUST provided all possible support to JKWDC staff in organizing the event on the campus.
