Luthra welcomes BJP workers into NC fold

Jammu : National Conference Women Wing State Vice President and former MLA Bimla Luthra on Tuesday castigated divisive forces for indulging in rhetoric, saying they have caused colossal harm to the unity, amity and harmony of Jammu and Kashmir.
“These forces have failed in delivering and keeping up the promises when in power and out of it they are exploiting public sentiment to push the state into political crisis”, Bimla Luthra said while welcoming several BJP women workers into the National Conference fold at Bagh Mar village in R S Pura Constituency.
Bimla Luthra described the BJP as spent force and said that this party has lost the drive to serve the people because of its lust for power. She said the BJP has ditched Jammu and left in lurch the people, especially those living in border and remote areas. She said the prices are soaring on daily basis, leaving the people to lot of miseries.
“This is because of the wrong policies of the BJP at the Centre and earlier in Jammu and Kashmir where it shared the power with equally opportunistic PDP”, she said adding that National Conference is the only party that can satiate the socio-political aspirations of the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and maintain the unity and tranquility, which is at grave threat.
Welcoming the new entrants, Luthra said this will further strengthen the party at the grass roots level and help in serving the people in highlighting their problems.
