Abdullahs condemn killing of NC workers, Mehbooba condoles deaths, Omar tweets on Mehbooba’s condolences

Srinagar : National Conference President Farooq Abdullah and party Vice President Omar Abdullah condemned the killing of their two party workers and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti condole the deaths. NC Vice President Omar Abdullah took to social networking website twitter to react to the killing of two NC workers and Mehbooba Mufti’s condolence message. Senior PDP leaders Muzaffar Hussain Baig also Member Parliament, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari,the Pradesh Congress Committee and Gh Hassan Mir President Democratic Party (Nationalist) also a former minister have too condemned the killing of two National Conference Worker
National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr. Omar Abdullah expressed profound grief over the killing of two party workers Nazir Ah Bhat and Mushtaq Ah Wani. Taking to micro blogging social networking website Omar Abdullah wrote ” Shakeel Ahmad Zangoo has been injured & is in hospital. I pray for his complete & speedy recovery. May the families of Nazir, Mushtaq & Shakeel find strength in this most difficult time”.
Meanwhile Omar Abdullah Also thanked former CM mehbooba for sharing kind words over killing of NC workers. Omar in a reply to Mehbooba wrote “Thank you for your kind words at this difficult time @MehboobaMufti Sahiba. I’m sure your message of support will give the family some strength at this difficult time.”
Member of Parliament and senior PDP leader, Muzaffar Hussain Baig while condemning the killing of two NC workers expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and also prayed for the eternal peace to departed souls. Baig termed the killing of two NC workers as unfortunate.
Another Senior PDP leader and Former Finance Minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari while condemning the killing of two NC workers expressed deep shock and grief and extended solidarity with the bereaved families of Mushtaq Ahmed Wani and Nazir Ahmed Bhat. He has also prayed for speedy recovery of the injured NC worker, Shakeel Ahmad. “I am extremely saddened over these killings. It is unfortunate that our suggestion for deferment of elections was not paid any heed. We had reiterated time and again that the situation was not favorable for holding local body elections in J&K. This hasty decision has left the lives of common masses in peril,” Bukhari said

The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) also condemned the killing of two NC workers describing the incident as shocking and highly painful. The Party also blamed both State & Centre Govt for miserably failing to ensure congenial atmosphere in the valley, as a result, the situation is extremely volatile.In a statement issued here on Friday the JKPCC Spokesperson expressed anguish over the killing of two NC workers, saying that the loss of lives cannot be replaced by anything and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved families of two NC Workers. He blamed both State and Centre Governments for failing to ensure congenial atmosphere in the valley. Both State & Centre cannot escape the responsibility of killings in the valley, he added and emphasized that effective measures be taken to ensure safety of political activists and common people as well. The Spokesperson conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved families of NC workers and sympathized with them.
Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir while condemning the killing of two NC workers said “Killing in any form is condemnable. The death of two political workers is unfortunate”. He expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and also prayed for the eternal peace to departed soul.
