Srinagar : Lokesh Dutt Jha, Vice-Chairman, J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration, and Rural Development, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here Wednesday.
Jha briefed Governor about various programs and calendar of activities of the Institute devised for capacity building and skill enrichment among different individuals and organizations in the government. He discussed certain important matters of administrative importance and infrastructure-upgradation plans of the IMPA.
Governor noted the vital role being played by the IMPA in creating high quality managerial cadre for manning different echelons of the administration, inculcating quality decision making competencies and keeping the administrative machinery of the State abreast of latest developments in the country and the world at large.
