Srinagar : Mian Altaf Ahmad, Member J&K Legislative Assembly from Kangan, called on Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here Wednesday and extended warm greetings to Malik on his appointment as Governor of J&K.
Mian Altaf informed Governor regarding the various developmental issues which require high priority attention in his Constituency and issues relating to the tribal community in J&K.
Governor appreciated Mian Altaf’s concerns and urged him to continue sustained efforts for promoting harmony and people’s welfare in his area. He Emphasized the crucial importance of making grass root level democratic institutions vibrant for bringing about holistic development of towns and villages.
