Srinagar/Oct, 3: A veteran local IAS Officer and former Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Syed Ahmad Sayeed Qadri passed away Tuesday night at his Srinagar residence .
Reports said that Qadri who breathed his last at 4:30 pm at his Raj Bagh residence was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard. He was 98.
Qadri, IAS, has served as the divisional commissioner, Kashmir from 5 Jan 1968 to 4 Nov 1971.
