Kulgam : The DGP Dilbagh Singh on Sunday directed all the forces on ground to work as team for the successful conduct of municipal and Panchayat elections in Jammu & Kashmir and take up this challenge the way they have taken up this challenge in the past.Referring to the welfare of Police personnel the DGP said that he would continue to strive for providing better facilities to them. He said that officers have been directed to complete all the required formalities for promotions of all ranks in all wings. Earlier the SSP Kulgam Harmeet Singh gave a brief description of the work of his district. The DGP made the remarks during his address to the officers as well as other cadres of Jammu & Kashmir Police and CRPF at DPL Kulgam. Later he listened to the grievances of police personnel and assured them timely disposal of their grievances.
During his visit to Kulgam DGP was accompanied by ADGP Muneer Khan, IGP CRPF ops Zulfiquar Hasan, IGP Kashmir S.P. Pani, DIG SKR Anantnag Amit Kumar.The DGP was received by SSP Harmeet Singh Mehta (JKPS) and other officers of District Kulgam. DGP during his interaction with the officers and as well as other cadres of Jammu & Kashmir police impressed upon them to work with full professionalism , sincerity and in a dedicated manner for the welfare of the people, while taking due care of their security.
