Srinagar : The President Chamber of Commerce Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Mir Thursday called on Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) Suresh Chugh, to discuss the issue related to Wood Based Industries.
He briefed the PCCF about the problems being faced by Wood Based Industries in getting their Licenses renewed. The PCCF listened to their grievances and ensured that he will look into the matter and find a solution so that these Licenses are renewed in shortest possible time.
Mir presented a copy of notification issued by the Ministry of Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Government of India regarding the subject. He also discussed issues with regard to State Forest Corporation. PCCF gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that these problems will also be looked into. He was accompanied by other office bearers of the Chamber of Commerce.
