ULB Polls: DC Samba chairs meeting of Nodal Officers, ROs

Samba : Deputy Commissioner (District Election Officer) Sushma Chauhan Tuesday chaired a meeting of designated Nodal Officers, Returning Officers (RO)s and Assistant Returning Officers (ARO)s to review preparedness for smooth conduct of Municipal Elections in the border district.
The meeting was also attended by ADC Arun Manhas, ACR Kulbushan Khajuria, ACD Aijaz Qaiser, DSWO Abdul Raheem, SDM (Vijaypur) Vijay Kumar.
The DEO has appointed 13 ROs and 56 AROs for the upcoming Municipal Election to 4 Municipal Committees of District Samba to be held on October 13, 2018.
The ROs and AROs were sensitized about the process involved in the Municipal Election. It was informed that the filing of Nomination forms will start from Sept 22 and continue till Sept 29, scrutiny will be held on November 1, while the date for withdrawal of nomination forms has been set as November 3rd.
Meanwhile, district administration has designated Dr. Ravan Kumar Asst. Prof. GDC Samba, as RO for elections to Samba MC with Dr. Maninder Singh as ARO for W.NO. 1 , Parshotam Kumar(W.No. 2), Mohammad Rafiq(Ward No. 3 ), Ganesh Dutt(Ward No. 4) with Headquarter at Municipal Committee Office Samba, Ashwani Kumar Principal GHSS Ramgarh as R.O with ARO Dr. Kartar Chand Sharma(W No. 5), Sat Paul (Wno. 6), Darshan Lal(W no. 7), Mohd. Ershad(Wno. 8) with HQ at PWD Guest House, samba, RO Rajinder Singh AEE EM&RE having ARO Paramjit Singh(Wno. 9), Sudarshan Sharma(W No. 10), Ajay Singh Charak(Wno. 11), Vikas Raina ( W No.12),with HQ at P.H.E office Samba RO Romesh Chander HOD (DIET Samba), having ARO Swarn Singh(W no. 13), Sunil Kumar Khajuria(W no. 14), Sat Paul Sharma(W. No. 15), Som Nath(W. No. 16), Ramesh Lal Sharma(W.
