Sopore/Sept,13:Militants and the government forces Thursday morning exchanged fire in Teliyan Arampora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district .
Reports said a joint team of the government forces cordoned off the Teliyan Arampora late Wednesday night following inputs about the presence of at least two militants.
A brief exchange of fire took place between the militants and the forces on Thursday in the wee hours at about 4:30am, they said.
Internet has been suspended in the area as a “precautionary measure”, said an official.
