SASB Member meets Guv at Raj Bhavan Srinagar

Srinagar : Vijay Dhar, Member Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB), met Governor Satya Pal Malik, Chairman of the Board, at the Raj Bhavan here Saturday and extended his warm greetings to Malik on his appointment as Governor of the State.
Dhar briefed Governor about the Shrine Board’s efforts in making annual pilgrimage to the Holy Cave of Shri Amarnathji more comfortable and safe and offered various suggestions to further improve facilities for yatris.
Governor and Dhar discussed steps required to be taken to promote interests of youth in sports and extracurricular activities.
Governor emphasized high importance of providing ample opportunities to youth to hone their talents in extra mural activities for their holistic development. He urged Dhar, who is Pro-Vice Chairman of D.P. Dhar Memorial Trust to organize national level competitions in order to provide platform to youth for participating in world class level arts and sports competitions.
