Bandipora: People in main town Bandipor dca are facing inconvenience due to unavailability of cash in Automated Teller Machines (ATM’S) here.
Locals allege that from last 2 days most of the ATM’s are without cash, however a few of them were having cash, but on Monday almost all the ATM’S went cashless.
We visited all the ATM’S located in the town, some of them were closed, while as the ones that were open had unavailability of cash,” they added.
One of the residents of district Danish Ahmad Bhat said, “I visited about 5 ATM machines located in the town but all of them were cashless.”
Another resident Nadeem Ahamad Malik told ’ that he came from a nearby village to withdraw money but had to return empty-handed as no ATM was functioning in the Bandipora town.
According to the locals, not only the ATM’s in the main market of Bandipora are cashless from last 2 days, but the ATM located inside Sports Stadium is also facing the same problem due to which the patients are facing immense hardships.
When contacted Branch Head officials, said, “Most of our ATM machines are dispensing the cash, while as the ones which don’t will be loaded with cash as soon as possible.”
