Says ‘Vajpayee was a rare Indian leader who had humanness to seek Kashmir resolution’
Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq on Thursday said that the demise of former Indian Prime Minister Attal Bihari Vajpayee has saddened him adding ‘he was the only Indian leader who had humanness to seek Kashmir resolution’
Taking to micro blogging social networking website twitter Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq wrote ‘Sad to hear about the demise of Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji.Atalji was a rare Indian leader who had the humaneness to seek the resolution of the festering Kashmir dispute in the wide ambit of humanity and not within the confines of a constitution and he made efforts to walk his talk when he initiated unconditional talks with the Hurriyat conference . He wanted cordial and peaceful relations with Pakistan as well and was ready to adddress all issues
including the core issue of Kashmir through dialogu
