DDC Bandipora inaugurates WKWMA sports event

Bandipora: District Development Commissioner (DDC ), Bandipora, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Saturday, called upon the school going children and youth of Bandipora to vigorously participate in sports and athletic activities, apart from pursuing their academic and curricular activities.
The DDC was speaking at the inaugural function of a Martial Arts event held here at SK Sports Stadium on the eve of World Kungfu Wushu Martial Arts celebration.
About 50 students from 20 nearby schools participated in the Martial Arts activities.
Dr Shahid said that the youth of Bandipora is performing well in sports activities and have earned laurels for the district. He said district administration is putting all possible efforts to support and channelize the talent of the youth in right directions.
SSP Bandipora, Sheikh Zulfkar Azad, principal Girls Higher Secondary School, M Rafiq, EO Municipal Committee Bandipora, DPO, concerned Officers and staff of Youth Services and Sports and a large number of students were present on the occasion. The function was organised by Ali Sports Academy, Bandipora.
