Srinagar/ April, 17:) A moderate earthquake rocked Kashmir valley, including summer capital, Srinagar, forcing people to rush out of their homes in panic Tuesday.
A Meteorological department spokesman said an earthquake of 5 magnitude on Richter Scale rocked Srinagar and other parts of the valley at around 1042 hrs Tuesday. People rushed out of their homes in panic after the tremors which last in few seconds. He said the Epicenter of the tremors were in Ladakh region. There was no immediate report of any loss of life or damage to property.
