ADDC chairs DLRC, RSETI meets in Ramban

Ramban: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Ramban Ravinder Sadhu chaired District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of officers of banking and civil departments to discuss the achievements of banking sector in deposits and advances at Conference Hall Thursday.

The meeting was attended by AGM, RBI Ram Kumar, Lead District Manager, M.K Pandita, Director RSETI R.K Sharma, GM DIC, ADs, CAO, CHO and others bankers and officers of line departments.

It was informed in the meeting that up to March 2018, an amount of Rs. 1196.72 crore has been recorded in the deposit and Rs. 422.79 crore in the advance sector and the CD Ratio of district has been increased by 0.37% and stand on 35.33%.

Threadbare discussions were held on the centrally sponsored schemes under which loans are being provided to the beneficiaries for operating income generating units.

It was elucidated in the meeting by officers that many cases have been kept pending by the various bank branches.

The ADDC directed the bankers to provide loans under MUDRA, Atal Pension Yojana and other financial assistance schemes to people for establishing their business units.

He directed CAO to ensure proper implementation of Pardhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yogna for providing financial security to farmers.

The ADDC directed the bankers to produce comparative statement in next meeting for closely monitoring achievements in all respects of banking sector. He also directed sponsoring agencies to follow the status of cases in coordination with borrowers and   submit a detailed report of pending cases.

He further directed the bankers to reflect separate data of government and private advance and deposit details of their respective banks. He also exhorted them to undertake corporate social responsibility sector especially in education, Agriculture, Horticulture and entrepreneur sectors.

Lead District Manager, Ramban said the students should be made aware about educational loans well in time to enable them seeking admission in various professional courses in or outside the state.

Meanwhile, a meeting to review the functioning of Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) was also held wherein suggestions from different departments for opening new small-scale units were welcomed.
