DDC for result oriented implementation of centrally sponsored schemes

Poonch: District Development Commissioner, Poonch Mohammad Aijaz Asad Wednesday chaired a meeting to review physical and financial progress recorded by different departments under various centrally sponsored schemes, flagship programs and initiatives.

Detailed deliberations were held on various schemes being implemented in different sectors of the district like National Rural Drinking Water Program, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sanchaye Yojana, Watershed Management Program (IWMP), Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana, National Health Mission, Serva Shiksha Abhiyan, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Mid day meal Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, SBM-G and IWMP.

The meeting also embarked on review of implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme , NRLM, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Jyoti Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana,National Social Assistance Program, Pradhan Mantri Gram Awaas Yojana and Swachh Bharat Mission.

Referring to all-round and inclusive development envisaged in these schemes and programs, the DDC impressed upon the concerned for their effective implementation for achieving the envisioned goals.

The officers were directed to undertake scheduled visits in the field to take feedback from public and to ensure their participation in formulation of yearly developmental plans apart from monitoring the development works pertaining to their departments for result oriented plans.

Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner Abdul Hamid, CPO Seva Ram Bhagat, DPO, Executive Engineers PWD, PHE, PDD, REW and OC GREF, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Agriculture Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, BDO’s, AD besides other district and sectoral officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
