Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police paid floral tribute to two Selection Grade Constables (SgCt), who were killed when militants attacked a guard post at Pulwama Court complex in the wee hours on Tuesday in south Kashmir.
A police spokesperson here said a wreath laying ceremony was held in District Police Line (DPL) Pulwama, where floral tributes were paid to the martyrs SgCt Ghulam Rasool and SgCt Ghulam Hassan, who gave supreme sacrifice of their lives in the militant attack.
“Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir range, S P Pani led police, civil officers and jawans in laying the floral wreaths on the bodies of the martyr,” he said.
SgCt Rasool and SgCt Hassan were killed when militant attacked them at Pulwama in the wee hours of Tuesday when people were busy observing Shab-i-Qadr in mosques and other religious places across the valley.
