Jammu/June, 11::Two Kashmiri youth were on Monday arrested for taking away two Ak rifles from a police post during wee hours on Monday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.
“Two youth during wee hours fired two shots at security personnel deployed at a check point from the Ak rifles they had stolen from the Shahdara Police Post,” Yugal Manhas, SSP Rajouri said here.
He said that no one was injured but the duo has been taken into custody.
The arrested were identified as Mukhtar Ahmed (22), son of Abdul Ahad Dar, resident of New Colony, Safanagri (Zainapura) Shopian and Aijaz Ahmed Paaray (22) son of Sanullah Parray, resident of Keshva, Chitragama, Shopian, Kashmir
