Lal Singh’s brother arrested from Udaipur, Rajasthan

Jammu: Police on Sunday arrested Choudhary Rajinder Singh alias Babby from Udaipur Rajasthan who was absconding after a case was registered against him at Hirnagar police station for abusing the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti during a rally.
When contacted Director General Police S P Vaid said that a special team of Kathua police along with Rajasthan police arrested Babby, the brother of former forest minister Choudhary Lal Singh, from Udaipur, Rajasthan.
SSP Kathua Sridhar Patil when contacted said “Choudhary Rajinder Singh was arrested Sunday morning from Udaipur, Rajasthan by a six member police team constituted for the purpose.”
He said that the accused will be brought back to Kathua on Monday. The SSP refused to share the operational details in the case.
Pertinently, Rajinder Sungh used derogatory language against the Chief Minister during Dogra Swabhiman Rally in Kootah, Hiranagar on May 20. He was booked under section 509 of RPC and section 66 and 67 of IT Act at Hirnagar police station.
