Shopian: The six-day training program organized under Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) by J&K Bank RSETI (Rural Self-Employment Training Institute) Shopian concluded here Thursday.
34 unemployed girls from the various areas of the district participated in the training program. Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shopian, Majid Jahangir was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the ACR Shopian asked the trained entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the training program and set up their own economically viable units.
Director RSETI, Hafizullah Yatoo, said the mission of the institute is to train the youth and create a culture of self-employment by conducting such training programs on regular basis.
Later, the ACR also distributed the certificates amongst 34 successful trainees. He wished good luck to all the candidates for starting their own ventures.
Among others, Cluster Head Shopian, Mohammad Aslam Ganie, Lead District Manager, and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
