New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on her birthday.
Taking to micro blogging website Twitter, PM Modi said: “Best wishes to Jammu and Kashmir CM @MehboobaMufti on her birthday. I pray for her good health and long life.”
Mufti is an alumnus of Kashmir University’s law department, and has done her schooling from Srinagar’s Presentation Convent. She also holds bachelor’s degree in literature from Jammu Women’s College in English literature.
Mufti was born on May 22, 1959 at her ancestral home in south Kashmir’s Bijbehara at Akhran Nowpora.
